VHS, Camcorder, and Other Tape to Digital Conversions Pricing & Policies
Looking to transfer
your VHS, VHS-C, Hi-8, or 8mm tapes to a longer-lasting digital format…let me
help! Unlike other conversion services,
I do not charge per tape, and I only charge for the recorded footage of your
tapes, not the blank or unused portion of the tapes.
If you do not have a
preference of the order of your videos, I can record the tapes as they are. If
you would like them in chronological order, write the number on the tape. The
more information you provide the more information I can put on the final
digital format you choose, such as a menu that will allow for easy navigation.
If you would like a menu created, put the title(s) on the cover or create a document
with the information. The title(s)
cannot exceed 15 characters.
The conversion-process cost is $10.00 per hour of recorded video and includes one digital
option. Please see the price list below
for format options:
- USB flash drive, up to 32 GB (larger drives additional) - $10.00 for each additional flash drive.
- Memory card (32GB) - $10.00 for each additional card.
- DVD - 5 DVDs, additional DVD’s $1.00 each.
I am also
able to convert a previously made DVD to another media format. The cost for this service is $10.00 for each DVD. This cost includes one of the digital options listed above.
I can also convert those old audio cassettes to a longer-lasting digital format. Contact me for pricing for this service.
